Verdant Solutions consultants have over five years experience in ecology and habitat restoration consultancy working on some of the largest habitat restoration schemes in the UK. Consultants are Full Members of IEEM (Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management) and covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Our services include site surveys, soil analysis, plant selection and expert advice on vegetation establishment.
Seed Collection Service
Where required and when lead times allow we would always advocate the use of using local provenance seed. Verdant Solutions Ltd offer a seed collection service, which provided the seed is collected at the right time and is suitably viable, can then be grown to meet most contractual demands. As a result this means that we can offer a complete grow to order service, allowing the specifier to have the plants that they want grown on, in the sizes required and delivered within the project timescale.
Green Roof Systems
Verdant Solutions consultants have a proven track record of establishing native biodiverse vegetation for high profile projects in difficult green roof environments. We provide innovative and successful green roof designs on flat and sloping roofs for wildlife habitat creation and BREEAM, code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH) projects.
Bird, Bat & Owl Boxes
Verdant Solutions offer a comprehensive range of nesting boxes for most garden birds, raptors, owls and bats. Hand crafted from recycled hardwood and softwood timber we can supply most boxes with relatively short lead-times. Aquatic Planting & Design Service
We have over 25 years experience in design, consultation for planting of lakes, ponds, rivers and canals throughout the UK. We specialise in British native plants and reeds with all designs tailored to suit client’s individual expectations and requirements. Aquatic plants reeds, and water lilies can be specified in any size ranging from plugs up to 25 litre baskets to meet all budgetary requirements.
